The Red Lobster trailer was a perfect example of a highly effective mobile marketing program. Red Lobster wanted to rebrand from the fried foods that Grandpa loved to the lighter, healthier fare of today’s consumer. The unit attended large public events where they distributed samples of their grilled fish with fresh island salsas. The samples were cooked on site in view of the public and were delivered to the crowd on trays by local Red Lobster employees. Sales saw significant and sustained increases.
